Alcohol and Substance Abuse

The College of Law is committed to maintaining an environment free from substance abuse by students and employees as well as complying with state and federal laws related to the unlawful possession or distribution of illicit drugs and/or alcohol.

The COL prohibits the illicit use, sale, attempted sale, conveyance, distribution, manufacture, cultivation, dispensation, purchase, attempted purchase, and possession of illegal drugs, intoxicants, or controlled substances, at any time and in any amount or in any manner.

Failure to comply with this policy by any student will constitute grounds for disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion from the COL. A student who violates any state law related to use or possession of drugs or alcohol will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

Students may be required to participate in and satisfactorily complete an approved rehabilitation or assistance program.
