Room Reservation Request

Please note: The form on this web page is for students, staff, and faculty of the College of Law. For community groups outside the College of Law who wish to use our space, please view the information on how to reserve meeting and event space at the College of Law.

Student requests to reserve study rooms in the Law Library are submitted here. 

Student Reservations for student orgaqnizations or study rooms

Room reservations for student study groups will be limited to two-hour blocks.

Use of rooms for Instructional or testing purposes will be prioritized over student organizations and student study groups.

Efforts will be made to communicate rescheduling or cancelling of room reservations for student reservations, if necessar,y due to conflicts with Instructional or testing activieis.

ROOM REQUEST

Please list choices in order of preference. Only one room will be assigned unless multiple rooms are requested in the comments field. Other rooms may be substituted if the preferred rooms are unavailable. A list of rooms with a brief description follows.

Room 511 – Conference room with 16 seats and connections for laptops to project presentations.

Room 520 – Moot court with 50 seats and courtroom technology.

Room 523 – Jury/conference room with 8 seats.

Room 524 – Conference room with 6 seats and whiteboard. Available for student groups Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Room 552 – Interview room with 4 seats. Available for student groups Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Room 553 – Interview room with 4 seats. Available for student groups Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Room 560 – Classroom with 72 seats and standard classroom technology, including lecture capture. This room can be separated into two rooms with 36 seats each, but sufficient lead time is needed to turn around the tables, etc.

Room 611 – Classroom with 24 seats, lecture podium and connection for laptop to project presentations.

Room 641 – Classroom with 28 seats and standard classroom technology, including lecture capture.

Room 623 and Room 640 are reserved through the Law Library at Study Room Reservations.

ARRANGING THE ROOM

Those reserving rooms for specific uses are responsible for arranging furniture in the room for their event and for rearranging the room to the classroom default setting at the end of their event. Advance notice is required for assistance in arranging and rearranging furniture in the reserved room; assistance is available for large events, faculty events and in other circumstances. Pease note requests for assistance in the Comments box below.

Rooms will not be rearranged for student study groups.
